SYNOPSIS
White Noise is a father-son drama that will be shot in Switzerland in December 2023 - January 2024.
The film portrays the battles of a father (Pao) and son (Théo) in the aftermath of the 2019-Covid pandemic, which takes a turn for the worst for both. Pao struggles to find continuity as an Overseas Filipino Worker in Switzerland, and Théo is brought up in the crossfire between the resentment of his in-laws, his own illness and his father’s legal status.
The film is written, directed and produced by award-winning actress Bela “mapanakit” Padilla and will be shot in English, with parts of the dialog in French and Tagalog. And, Roll!
